Description of tasks
The external employee will work in the client's Gent office buildings for a smooth and intensive collaboration with the other employees.
The external employee will participate in the development of models, using Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, to be able to extract quantitative data from video and images. In the first instance we focus on specific cases within our hot roll in Gent, for example determining properties of steel rolls via images.
In the next phase this should be extended to other installations.
Because the developed models must operate within our existing infrastructures, a basic knowledge of .NET C # is also required.
We want to come up with generic solutions with further roll-out both within the Gent office and other sites within Europe.
We anticipate a 6-month period for this project. Possibly extendable to a longer period.
Technical profile
Bachelor or master with knowledge of AI, machine learning and Vision
